Most flyers have probably been curious about what happens when the aircraft’s emergency slide is deployed. It seems that one flight attendant was just as curious when she opened the door of the airplane upon landing and jumped out and slid down. The bizarre behaviour could not be explained, however the United Airline attendant was fired for breaking one of the most important safety rules and potentially costing the company thousands of dollars. Repacking the slides can cost up to $12,000 and repairing and repacking it can run as high as $30,000.
