The ratings are in and according to the Airline Quality Rating Report, Virgin has been ranked the best US airline. The ratings are based on a number of factors including On-time arrivals, involuntary denied boardings, mishandled baggage, and a combination of 12 customer complaint categories. JetBlue, Delta Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines rounded out the top 5. Virgin America had a lower than average complaints rating of 1.66 complaints per 100,000 passengers, however there is still room for improvement after Virgin’s rankings decreased from its 2014 scores in 3 of the criteria.
