To help smooth the transition for customers while American Airlines and US Airways merger takes place, the two airlines are making redeeming frequent flyer miles easier.  Passengers are able to use their US Airways Dividend Miles on American Airlines and American Eagle flights and those who are members of American’s AAdvantage program can use their miles on US Airways and US Airways Express flights.

For their elite members, they now are able to receive priority check-in, special security screening, and baggage handling services.  Members of American Admiral Club and US Airways Club have access to both airlines’ clubs as well as those with American AAdvantage Citibank Executive cards have access to US Airways Clubs.
