Iceland’s discount carrier WOW Air has now added Miami as a U.S. destination. Operating on the company’s Airbus A330, the airline will begin offering three weekly flights beginning April 5, 2017. To kick off routes to South Florida, WOW is offering their signature $99 one way fares. Connecting flights from Miami to destinations like London and Amsterdam have been selling for around $149 each way.
Miami joins five other U.S. destinations, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Newark Liberty, Boston, and Baltimore/Washington, that WOW Air debuted service to last year. With WOW Air’s inexpensive flights, keep in mind some additional fees they charge like booking fees, checked luggage and large carry-ons.
