Airlineratings.com has just released their list for the safest airlines for 2017.  The fourth year in a row Australia’s Qantas carrier has ranked the safest of the 425 airlines airlineratings.com monitors.  Airlines are ranked by their operational histories, incident records and operational excellence.  Qantas has an amazing record in safety and operations over the course of its 96 year history.

The other nineteen airlines that made airlineratings.com’s list of the safest airlines of 2017 are Air New Zealand, Alaska Airlines, All Nippon Airways, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Delta Air Lines, Etihad Airways, EVA Air, Finnair, Hawaiian Airlines, Japan Airlines, KLM, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airline System, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia.
