As in-air services become increasingly similar across all carriers, airlines are looking to their business and first class lounges to distinguish themselves from other companies. One of the main concepts is the offer of exclusivity, by offering additional services and luxury to premium and first class passengers that business class fliers cannot access. Lufthansa has gone one step further by creating a separate terminal for first class passengers, allowing them to completely bypass the airport and clear security in the separate terminal. These days it’s all about adding the extra touch of luxury to ensure customer loyalty.
