While access to airline lounges can be purchased for upwards of $40 per day, there are some creative ways to avoid spending the cash and still enjoying the spoils of club lounges. If you are part of a rewards program or an airline credit card, you can easily use those points to upgrade your status, gaining you free use of the lounge even with an economy ticket. Other more unusual ways to get past the door involve buying a fully refundable first class ticket and cancelling as soon as you get inside, or asking a stranger walking in if they might admit you as their guest. Just remember to dress well, or you might be left standing outside.
