After buying out Virgin Airlines, Alaska Airlines has become the fifth largest carrier in the nation and with the acquired fleet, Alaska Airlines has redesigned their fleet’s cabins. The airline has added more seats in first class and installed thinner seats in the main cabins, allowing for more economy seats without jeopardizing legroom. The redesigned seats also provide additional cushioning and lumbar support. The seatbacks also now have a clip for tablets and phones
