Passengers on American Airlines’ April 2nd Flight 682 from Phoenix to Orlando got to experience the newest airbus to their fleet: the Airbus A321neo.  “neo” stands for “new engine option” which means the new airbus fuel saving wingtips and two engine choices.

The most obvious difference that passengers will see, however, are the high-speed WiFi, outlets at every seat, and built-in holders for tablets and phones.  Bigger galleys, aisles and luggage bins are also a plus for this aircraft.

American Airlines is launching the A321neo on their Phoenix to Orlando route but plan on adding more routes like Anchorage and Hawaii as more of the 100 planes ordered arrive.
