With airlines now starting to charge for things like seat selection and carry-on luggage, Wi-Fi has become one thing they’re starting to offer free of charge to their customers.  After a three month test Air New Zealand did of free Wi-fi, they decided to expand the test and will offer it on their A320neo and A321neo aircrafts and will work throughout the remainder of the year to add it to their older aircrafts.

Air New Zealand join JetBlue, Qatar Airways and Philippine Airlines who already offer free wi-fi to all passengers.  Turkish and Scandinavian Airlines only offer the free Wi-fi to their frequent flier members.
