Air New Zealand (ANZ) is now giving economy passengers the lie flat luxury once reserved for premium passengers with their new ‘SkyCouch.’ The ‘SkyCouch’ is made up of three reclined economy seats that have their footrests and armrests up. When the couch is laid out flat, it measures 156 cm by 76 cm, the perfect size for two adults to sleep comfortably.
To purchase a ‘SkyCouch,’ the passenger must purchase the three seats that make up the “couch.” Air New Zealand gives you a deal on the three seats by charging full price for two of them and giving the third at half price. Although anyone can purchase them, the ‘SkyCouch’ was designed with couples and families in mind.
